During this time the capacity to absorb instruction, and information is at it's peak. It was also shown that a learner drivers ability to progress is heightened when newly acquired skills are rapidly reinforced.

1 to 1 Tuition. Think very carefully about this form of tuition, when considering an intensive driving course. Over the years we have been asked "what is the best way to learn on an intensive course ?". We have found that without a rest period, from the actual driving, over any 2 hour + period, the learning process starts to turn and move in the opposite direction (retard). We know what we are talking about here, we have tried and tested it. With 1to1 tuition the first time pass rate is about the same as the national average 42%. The pass rate for shared tuition is at the moment 76% and has never dropped below 71% in 16 years. The main reason for the huge difference in pass rate is the average concentration span, bearing in mind that this is only about 10 to 15 minutes. So if you are on a 1to1 course and crying out for that much needed break, you will be paying for it, from your time behind the wheel.

Refresher Breaks. Most people take nearly imperceptible "refresher" breaks every few minutes while driving. These may involve simply looking at a house or garden. Breaks of about a minute happen every 10 to 15 minutes or so. By the 70 minute mark, most people want to stop, get out of the car, and walk round in order to stay fresh and reset their concentration.

At the end of the day our goal is to provide you with a suitable course, to get what you want a full driving licence. Please note we can not shorten a 4 day course.
