Course Itinerary

Arrive Sunday, start Monday 8 30 am, ends Friday 4 30pm.

Price £1075. (Limited period only)

The course is dedicated to part 2 & 3.

Arrive Sunday, start Monday, commence course at 8 30 am with introductions, followed by details of your test appointment, and what to expect.

Introduction to Part 2.

Part 2 training will run parallel to Part 3 and complement Part 1, (Part 1, is the foundation for Part 2, and Parts 1 & 2 are the foundation for Part 3). it is vital that you understand this.

Aims and objectives.

To drive a car in a highly professional manner, to a standard far beyond advanced level, with a maximum of 6 minor faults. Covering car control - road procedure - mirrors - signals - steering - junctions - roundabouts - manoeuver - motorways - maintenance - high speed driving - alertness and awareness - hazard perception - observations - anticipation - concentration - sign recognition - attitude - surface recognition - commentary techniques - relaxation when driving - anti skid techniques - sound judgment of distance - speed and timing and finally common faults which result in failure. You will be taught all the above skills in a structured, relayed and friendly manner over the next 5 days.

Introduction to Part 3.

The preparation for Part 3 which requires the ability to instruct. There are three main topics you must excel in. Core competencies, this is this ability to first identify the fault then analyse it, and finally remedy it. So to recap, core competencies are:

l Identify the fault.

2 Analyse the fault.

3 Remedy the fault.

Instructional Techniques will cover the following.

1 Level of instruction.

2 Planning.

3 Control of lesson.

4 Communication.

5 Question and answer technique.

6 Feedback & encouragement.

7 Use of dual controls.

Instructor Characteristics.

The Senior Examiner (SE) will be looking particularly at how:

1 Articulate.

2 Enthusiastic.

3 Encouraging.

4 Patient.

5 Confident.

Part 3 is the ability to satisfy the SE on these main topics. Our structured and detailed course will enable you to master the above skills and develop your own individual techniques; we endorse that with over 43 years as training providers in road safety.

In conclusion.

The course

Will be majoring on Parts 2 & 3 and a test appointment will be booked. We can arrange for you, to take this tests in your own local area if you so wish.

The average hourly rate for a lesson is £21- £25 per hour. Multiply that by 40 hours = £1000 per week approximately, (this is considered the minimum in this industry) and We think you will agree that this is an extraordinary salary. Only 40 hours of lessons pays for this course. It is a good investment for your future.
