The Theory Test

The theory test for car drivers consists of 50 multiple choice questions and a hazard perception test. Associated with each test is a list of potential answers or hazards. You select the correct answer or hazard, by touching the appropriate area of the computer screen. You will be given 57 minutes to complete the test. If you correctly answer 43 out of the 50 questions (multiple choice) and 44 out of 75 (hazard perception) you will pass the test. Your instructor will take you to the Theory Test Centre. The pass certificate is valid for 2 years. |
The Theory and Hazard Perception Test. Comprehensive Theory training can be included on any of our courses of 5 days and over for all learner drivers. The training with our fully qualified ADI tutors maximises the chances of Passing your test at the first attempt. The tuition is arranged for you during the framework of your driving course. You can if you wish have theory training for the whole duration of your stay allowing you to concentrate exclusively on the theory test. Or when you begin your instructor can assess your theory and practical needs and split the course accordingly. It is critical that theory training is taken to secure a Pass. Once you have passed, we will book your practical driving test usually on the last day of your course. It is recommended that you take advantage of our Theory training.
